Because our inventory consists of specialized covert electronics and sensitive testing materials, we maintain a strict return policy to ensure the integrity and hygiene of our products.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return. After 14 days, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:
The item must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.
The factory seal/shipping box must be intact. Any item with an opened shipping box is considered used and is ineligible for a full refund.
You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Due to health, safety, and security reasons, the following are strictly non-returnable:
Items used for DNA or liquid testing (considered a health hazard).
Intimate or sanitary goods.
Hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases.
Sale items (only regular-priced items may be refunded).
3. The Return Process (RMA Required)
Do not send items back to the manufacturer or our office without prior authorization.
Request an RMA: Email ctprivatedetective@gmail.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Provide Proof: Your email must include clear photos of the unopened item and an explanation for the return.
Unauthorized Returns: Any package arriving without an RMA will be held at our office. It will only be sent back to you if you pay new shipping fees. If fees are refused, the item becomes the property of R.C. Ranno Investigative Services for destruction or display.
4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved Refunds: A credit will be applied to your original payment method.
Late Refunds: If you haven’t received your refund after 14 days of approval, please:

5. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. Exchanges are strictly limited to the exact same item. To initiate an exchange, email ctprivatedetective@gmail.com and send your item to: 50 Highland Avenue, Suite 2, Middletown, CT 06457.
6. Gifts
Marked as Gift: If the item was shipped directly to you as a gift, you will receive a gift credit.
Not Marked as Gift: The refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
7. Shipping Responsibilities
You are responsible for all shipping costs. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
If a refund is issued, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your total.
Recommendation: For high-value items, we strongly suggest using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
